Helping small business
In the current landscape, small business owners require assistance in turning their business potential into reality. Unfortunately, many of them face constraints such as limited budgets, time, or design skills, making it challenging to create a simple website for their ventures. This is why I've taken on the voluntary task of redesigning the website for a small massage shop in Texas.

Goal

Process
Initially, their goal was to transition hosting accounts and implement WordPress CMS, empowering them to manage website content independently. I initiated the process by inquiring about their preferences, and they shared a website inspiration that resonated with them.
Recognizing the outdated and poorly designed nature of their existing site, we mutually decided on a redesign. Luckily, they were open-minded, granting me creative freedom to design a solution aligned with their customer's needs.
To streamline the selection process, I presented two WordPress theme options, considering their preference for a "one-page website."
Challenges
The client possesses no background in IT, requiring me to guide them through the process of altering and uploading content on the website, breaking down each step for their understanding.

Giving Support to Non-Technical client
Throughout this project, I discovered the challenge of conveying technical concepts to non-technical clients in the realm of web projects. Here are several strategies I employed:
1. Simplify explanations, proceed at a measured pace, and steer clear of technical jargon.
2. Utilize written documentation and instructional videos to enable the client to learn at their own pace.
3. Frame discussions in terms of outcomes; elucidate the reasons and benefits behind the actions taken for the client, rather than delving into technical details.
4. Exercise patience in navigating the learning curve with the client.
